Payne Family Homes will break ground on the 2021 St. Jude Dream Home at the end of January and build through Spring. The 2021 St. Jude Dream Home will be located in the Inverness neighborhood at 106 Royal Inverness Pkwy, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368. Special thank you to McKelvey Homes for donating the home site.
Q: How many Dream Homes has Payne Family Homes constructed to support St. Jude? How much money have you raised?
A: Payne Family Homes is proud to be the Saint Louis St. Jude Dream Home Builder for the eighth year in a row.
“We are humbled and honored to be a part of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s fight to end childhood diseases,” said Eva Fryar, VP Construction Operations and Eight-Time Project Leader in St. Louis. “Our Dream Home is built at zero cost to St. Jude with the generosity and support of our sponsors, trade partners, and the local community. Every dollar raised goes straight to St. Jude for funding research and providing care, because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.”
Over the past seven years of building the St. Jude Dream Home, Payne Family Homes has donated in excess of $7 Million.
In 2020, the available 11,500 St. Jude Dream Home tickets sold out in just 15 days.
Tickets sold raised $1,150,000 for the world renowned hospital. Plus, Payne Family Homes and its dedicated trade partners and campaign sponsors hosted additional fundraising efforts, like the annual Buy a Stud Event and the 4th Annual Cornhole Fun-Raiser Tournament, allowing Payne Family Homes to contribute a total of $1,192,836 in 2020.
Q: Payne Family Homes always goes all out to design and construct an amazing home for this campaign. What will this year’s St. Jude Dream Home look like?
A: The 2021 St. Jude Dream Home floor plan design is very much inspired by our year at home together in 2020 and will include a ‘Zoom Room’ – an in-home classroom or conference room to support work from home needs.
The home is based on the Payne Family Homes very popular Ashton II ranch. There are more than 2,250 sq. ft. on the main floor with another more than 1,500 sq. ft. finished in the lower level. In total, the 2021 St. Jude Dream Home will feature 4,060 sq. ft. of living space with a 5 car garage featuring ‘The Dog House’.
“The past year has really changed how we use our homes,” said Eva Fryar. “As our team sat down to design this home, we reflected on how a family who’s spending 24/7 together would use their home while also having the personal space to get away and enjoy some much-needed private time.”
The first floor will feature a home office, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a huge screened porch on the rear of the home with a second, private screened porch off the owner’s suite. There will also be doggy wash and pet care stations included on the main floor.
The finished lower level will feature the home gym, recreation room including a wet bar with wine cellar, game area, full bath, safe room or vault, and a Zoom Room for home schooling or work from home.
Q: How much are tickets? How can they be purchased?
A: Just 14,000 tickets will be offered for $100 each beginning on Thursday, June 10, 2021. To reserve a ticket, simply visit dreamhome.org or visit the St. Jude Dream Home page at paynefamilyhomes.com.
Q: Why did Payne Family Homes choose the Inverness subdivision in Dardenne Prairie for the location of the 2021 St. Jude Dream Home? Can you tell us a little about the subdivision?
Dardenne Prairie consistently ranks amongst the best places to live in Missouri. In fact, Niche.com recently bestowed the title #1 Best Place to Raise a Family in St. Charles County. When choosing a location for the 2021 St. Jude Dream Home, Inverness was an obvious choice.
Located just off Feise and Bryan Roads in the Wentzville School District, Inverness is a new home community designed for 266 home sites on 106 acres originally owned by the Bopp Family.
This stunning new home community is thoughtfully designed to feature landscaped roundabouts and islands; distinctive monuments, some with pedestrian arches; four lakes; extensive common ground and pocket parks; and a meandering trail system connecting the various enclaves.
Homeowners enjoy quick, easy access and a one-year complimentary social membership to Lake Forest Country Club upon building in Inverness.
Q: What makes the City of Dardenne Prairie a great spot for a dream home?
Payne Family Homes recognizes that Dardenne Prairie is a desirable community. People want great schools, safe neighborhoods, and convenient access to modern amenities – all of the things that is the City of Dardenne Prairie. Plus, we know that the residents and leaders of Dardenne Prairie are very proud to host this annual campaign to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It’s a natural partnership.
