Payne Family Homes Plans $20 Million Dardenne Prairie Development

Payne Family Homes this fall has plans to launch a $20 million, 51-home development in Dardenne Prairie.

The development, called Córdoba, will consist of villa homes and be located on North Outer 364 at Bryan Road. Payne Family Homes has broken ground on the project, which is the company’s first community in Dardenne Prairie.

“Dardenne Prairie is a highly sought-after suburb in St. Charles County,” said Ken Kruse, Payne Family Home’s president. “We will create a neighborhood that buyers will expect from this community, with amazing curb appeal, remarkable construction and exceptional luxury.”

Payne Family Homes will offer three ranch-style floor plans for the homes. Two of the floor plans are available with an optional second story eagle’s nest. Homes will be priced starting at $250,000.

Payne Family Homes describes Córdoba as a “carefree community,” saying in a release that homeowners will have access to HOA-provided lawn, landscape, irrigation and snow-removal services.

The development will include a walking trail, common ground, retention pond, a private lake and a community park.

Payne Family Homes is owned by David Payne, president and owner of PayneCrest Electric. The company had revenue of $90.3 million in 2017.
